Class 1 parcel deliveries and collections from Ryton-on-Dunsmore near Coventry on afternoon or night starts. New pass and inexperienced C+E drivers are welcome onto an unpaid 2–3 day on-site driving school then ongoing work after assessment.

The job

Load and unload freight and secure loads. Complete scheduled parcel deliveries and collections. Vehicle checks and defect reporting. Accurate documentation. Alcohol deliveries may be involved.

Hours and working pattern

Shifts available 7 days a week
Afternoon starts 12:00–14:00
Night starts 22:00–02:00
8–12 hours per day
Temporary ongoing (year-round for the right candidate)
Training days unpaid

Pay and benefits

Days £19.61/hr then £19.90/hr after 12 weeks · nights £19.89/hr then £20.45/hr (PAYE inc holiday) · OT x1.5 on 6th consecutive shift

Rates inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE only. Overtime at time-and-a-half on the 6th consecutive shift.
