The job
7.5-tonne home delivery work from Avonmouth, delivering TVs, furniture, white goods and other bulky items with a driver's mate. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, with full training on the room-of-choice service.
Drive a 7.5t vehicle with a driver's mate, delivering large household goods (TVs, flat-pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods) into customers' homes. Heavy lifting throughout the day. Driving assessment, Highway Code/tachograph test and induction day before you start.
Hours and working pattern
- 5 or 6 shifts a week on a rota
- Weekend work required
- 6am, 8am or 10am starts
- Shifts usually 8–10 hours
Pay and benefits
£19.31/hr incl. holiday pay · overtime £22.97/hr
The £19.31 rate currently includes a £1.50/hr incentive, capped at 48 hours a week.
What you’ll need
- Category C1 (7.5t)
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points
- No DD, DR or IN convictions
- Own safety boots and hi-vis
- Drug and alcohol testing
