How verification works
- Verification is free.
- The provider completes a short questionnaire and declaration.
- LearnHGV reviews the business and the information supplied.
- LearnHGV decides whether to grant Verified Training Provider. The provider does not award it.
- Claiming a listing is separate. It lets the provider maintain the page. It is not verification, and a listing can stay on LearnHGV without the label.
Verified Training Provider
LearnHGV has checked that the business genuinely delivers HGV/LGV training itself. Verification does not mean every course or location is delivered solely by that business.
This label is not:
- DVSA approval
- accreditation
- a guarantee of training quality
- a guarantee of pass rates
- a guarantee of customer service
- a promise that every listing detail will stay the same
100% Direct Delivery
Where shown, the provider has declared that training booked through its business is not passed to another training provider to fulfil, and LearnHGV has approved that mark.
- This is separate from Verified Training Provider.
- A provider can be verified without 100% Direct Delivery.
- The mark is only shown together with Verified Training Provider.
- LearnHGV does not independently monitor every booking.
- A self-employed instructor working for the provider is not, by itself, another training provider.
- If the provider no longer meets the requirement, this mark can be removed on its own.
Other labels
Not yet verified
The provider is listed, but LearnHGV has not completed its verification check. Provider pages show Not yet verified. Search results may show Not checked yet.
Updated by the centre
The provider controls and maintains its own listing information. This is not verification.
Details checked
LearnHGV has checked key listing details. This is not Verified Training Provider.
Marks can change
These labels are not permanent. If the information changes, LearnHGV can review a mark and remove it. 100% Direct Delivery can be removed on its own. Verified Training Provider can stay in place when that separate requirement is still met.
Search
Verification is a trust signal, not a paid placement. It does not change the normal search order. You can filter the search to Verified Training Providers only.
