The job
7.5-tonne home delivery work from a client depot in Croydon, taking TVs, furniture, white goods and other bulky items into customers' homes with a driver's mate. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, and full training is given on the room-of-choice service.
Drive a 7.5t vehicle with a driver's mate, delivering large household goods (TVs, flat-pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods) into customers' homes. Heavy lifting throughout the day. Driving assessment, Highway Code and tachograph test, and an induction day before you start.
Hours and working pattern
- 5 or 6 shifts a week on a rota
- Weekend work required
- 6am starts
- Shifts usually 8–10 hours
Pay and benefits
£19.56/hr · overtime £22.97/hr
What you’ll need
- Category C1 (7.5t)
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points
- No DD, DR or IN convictions
- Own safety boots and hi-vis
- Drug and alcohol testing
