The job
7.5-tonne home delivery work for a multinational client in Eastleigh, delivering furniture, gym equipment and white goods into homes around Southampton with a driver's mate. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, with full training on the room-of-choice service.
Drive a 7.5t vehicle with a driver's mate, delivering flat-pack furniture, gym equipment and white goods into customers' homes. Heavy lifting throughout the day. Driving assessment, Highway Code and tachograph test, and an induction day before you start.
Hours and working pattern
- 5 or 6 shifts a week on a rota
- Weekend work required
- 6am start
- Shifts about 8–11 hours
Pay and benefits
£17.15/hr incl. holiday pay · overtime £22.97/hr after 48 hours
What you’ll need
- Category C1 (7.5t)
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points
- No DD, DR or IN convictions
- Own safety boots and hi-vis
- Drug and alcohol testing
