The job
Temp-to-perm 7.5t job for a well-known parcels client in Durham, doing up to 30 deliveries and collections a day, Monday to Friday from 9am. The advert says new pass C1 drivers are welcome to apply.
Drive a 7.5t vehicle on up to 30 parcel deliveries and collections a day, loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer addresses (heavy manual handling). Update delivery statuses on a handheld device and do pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
Hours and working pattern
- Monday–Friday
- 09:00 starts
Pay and benefits
£16.05 per hour PAYE
The site is due to move to Darlington (DL1 3NL).
What you’ll need
- Category C1 (7.5t)
- Driver CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points (minor offences only)
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling
