The job
Permanent Class 1 job with Stobart (part of Culina Group) at the Rugby truckstop depot, running curtainsider general haulage and trunking to distribution centres and stores. The advert says new pass drivers will be considered.
General haulage with curtainside trailers to distribution centres and stores, collections from stores back to DCs, occasional store deliveries including loading and unloading cages, and trunking when available. Complete vehicle checks and paperwork and work to drivers' hours, WTD and tachograph rules.
Hours and working pattern
- Any 5 days from 7
- Days: 04:00–07:00 starts
- Nights: 16:00–19:00 starts
- Weekend work may be needed
Pay and benefits
£15.15/hr weekday days · £16.35/hr weekday nights · £18.15/hr weekend days · £18.65/hr weekend nights · £18.96/hr bank holidays
Plus £5 tax-free meal allowance per shift and £25 tax-free per night out when needed.

What you’ll need
- Category C+E / Class 1
- Driver CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points and no DD or DR convictions
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD rules
