The job
Class 1 night work on a 4-on 4-off rota from Fowler Welch in Portsmouth, delivering chilled stock on refrigerated artics. Newly qualified drivers can apply, and experience is not essential.
Drive a refrigerated artic on nights, delivering and collecting chilled stock from distribution centres, farms and packhouses; vehicle and temperature checks; paperwork and PODs.
Hours and working pattern
- 4 on 4 off nights
- Start times between 22:00 and 00:00
- Minimum 10 hours pay per shift
- Overtime paid after 10 hours
Pay and benefits
£16.91–£21.98 per hour. Mon–Fri 04:00–20:00 £16.91; Mon–Fri 20:00–04:00 £20.29; Saturday 04:00–20:00 £19.45; Saturday 20:00–04:00 £21.14; Sunday and bank holiday 04:00–20:00 £20.29; Sunday and bank holiday 20:00–04:00 £21.98.
