The job
Permanent Class 1 night work for CML in Telford on the long-life chilled operation, delivering to RDCs nationwide on a 5 on 3 off pattern. Six months' Class 1 is preferred, but newly qualified drivers with the right attitude will be considered.
Nationwide deliveries to regional distribution centres, loading and unloading with pallet trucks where required, daily vehicle and temperature checks, paperwork and PODs. Night-out runs available if wanted.
Hours and working pattern
- 5 on 3 off nights
- Start between 18:00 and 23:00
- 3-hour start windows depending on volume
Pay and benefits
On-target earnings of £44,812 to £52,000 a year, depending on shift pattern, overtime and allowances.
What you’ll need
- Category C+E / Class 1
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points
- No DD or DR convictions
