The job
Full-time Class 1 night trunking from Quedgeley in Gloucester for a national client, running full-pallet loads on curtain-siders to other depots with no handballing. Pertemps says new passes are accepted for this role.
Trunk full-pallet loads in curtain-sided vehicles to other depots across the region, with some distance runs. No handballing. Carry out vehicle checks and paperwork and drive safely and legally.
Hours and working pattern
- Monday night to Friday night (finishing Saturday morning)
- Shifts start between 19:00 and 21:00
- Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift
- Full-time ongoing work
Pay and benefits
£17.71 per hour
All hours paid, with holiday entitlement on top.

What you’ll need
- Category C+E / Class 1 licence
- Driver CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- Aged 21 or over (insurance)
- No more than 9 points for minor endorsements
- Pass the company induction, theory test, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
