The job
Permanent Class 1 tramping job with Menzies Distribution from Telford on a 4-on-4-off pattern, delivering and collecting for Menzies customers with nights out. Menzies says new pass drivers are welcome to apply.
Deliver and collect products for Menzies customers and between Menzies sites, with nights out as required. Drive Class 2 vehicles when needed. Do vehicle and trailer pre-use checks, secure loads, handle delivery paperwork and PODs, and follow drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
Hours and working pattern
- 4 on, 4 off tramping
- Basic 48 hours a week
- Variable starts around 06:00
- 12-hour shifts
- Nights out as required
Pay and benefits
£40,513 per year
Advertised as £40,513 a year, which is £17.48 an hour. Paid monthly.

What you’ll need
- Category C+E / Class 1 licence
- Driver CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DD, TT, DR, CD or IN disqualifications
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to drive Class 2 vehicles when needed
