The job
Refuse and recycling collections at SUEZ Yate on a three-person crew. Newly qualified Cat C drivers welcome if you are confident on blind-side reversing.
Residential refuse and recycling collections Three-person crew (1 driver + 2 loaders) Multi-drop collection rounds Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Hours and working pattern
- Monday to Friday working with optional overtime
- Minimum 8-hour shift guarantee (average 10-hour shifts)
- Assessments/inductions Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at 08:00
Pay and benefits
NQ: £18.00/hr Mon-Fri · £27.00/hr overtime after 40hrs and Saturday · £36.00/hr Sunday and bank holidays
These are the newly qualified rates. Experienced drivers (12 months+) are advertised at a higher table. The advert also quotes estimated NQ weekly £720 / annual £37,440.

What you’ll need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Maximum 6 penalty points, minor endorsements only
- Confident completing blind-side reversing
