The job
Operate HGV vehicles safely on planned routes; complete daily vehicle checks and report defects; work with transport teams on collections and deliveries; follow road safety laws and company policies; represent the business professionally with customers.
Hours and working pattern
- 40–50 hours per week with overtime options available. Must be based in the Edinburgh, East Lothian or Midlothian area.
Pay and benefits
£13.45 per hour during training, increasing to £14.46 per hour once driving solo. Overtime available.

What you’ll need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Based in Edinburgh, East Lothian or Midlothian
