What this meansAbout this training provider
Essential Driver Training, trading as Fast Trak, has been training drivers and riders in Shrewsbury since 1993 and moved into lorry and bus driver training when Driver CPC began in 2008. Its seven-hour periodic Driver CPC sessions are run by former traffic police officers, prosecutors, trainers and drivers, and the team has delivered more than 5,000 driver training days. Courses take place at its two Shrewsbury premises, both with purpose-built training rooms, at your workplace (subject to numbers) or remotely over Zoom. Fast Trak is also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) to run Transport Manager CPC training, from a tutor-assisted correspondence course (from £375 plus VAT) to its popular two-week course over Zoom (around £1,000 plus VAT), timed to fit the exams that run six times a year. Operator Licence Awareness Training (OLAT) and a tachograph bureau service are also available, alongside its motorcycle courses. The office is open 8am to 4.30pm.
