Family-run Swansea driver training company established in 1985, based on Nantyffin Road South at Swansea Enterprise Park in Llansamlet. The site includes a purpose-built two-and-a-half acre manoeuvring area, and the company describes itself as the only HGV/LGV and PCV test centre in Swansea. Training categories listed include C, C1, C1+E, C+E and PCV D, D1 and D1+E, plus Driver CPC, forklift, HIAB, trailer and driver medicals. Grant-funded training and help finding work after passing are advertised.

Cat C runs 16 to 20 hours over four to five days on an automatic DAF LF 12-tonne with Modules 3a and 3b included, and C+E, C1, C1+E, PCV D and D1 are also offered. Initial CPC Modules 2 and 4 sit alongside periodic Driver CPC in the classroom, on Zoom or as seven-hour e-learning. The centre also delivers ADR, HIAB, forklift, B+E, Transport Manager CPC and yard shunter training.

Wrexham depot of the family-run Dulson Training group, based at Homestead Garage on Gegin Lane in Llay and visited by appointment. The Wrexham landing page names Category C1, C and C+E plus B+E, with practical tests taken at the public Llay driving test centre. The wider company catalogue includes C1+E, PCV D and D1, initial Driver CPC Modules 2 and 4, periodic CPC (held in Oswestry and Wrexham), ADR, HIAB and forklift. This is an additional depot alongside the company's Shropshire sites, with a local Wrexham number.

Family-run HGV-only school training in their own Volvo trucks from Gillingham Business Park and a Queenborough yard. Fast-track Class 1 and C1, plus ADR and operator CPC. Same business park as Learn2Pass — competitor, not a duplicate.

Independent driving school based at 10 Jubilee Road, Newtownards, County Down, covering Newtownards, Bangor, Belfast, Dundonald and Comber. Offers Category C1, C1+E, Cat C and C+E lorry training plus PCV, CPC Modules 2 & 4 and periodic Driver CPC. Own site publishes detailed Cat C and C+E packages with prices and DVA fees. No public email address is published, so enquiries go by phone or the site form.

Cat C and Class 1 courses start from the Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club meeting point at Stanbridge, with reversing and DVSA Module 3a taken on the company’s own area at Wellington Farm in Wing. A fast-track car-to-lorry route combines Class 2 hours with C+E training, uncoupling and Module 4 in a single week of 1:1 tuition. C1, C1+E, D1 and MiDAS training are also offered.

Northamptonshire school based at the coach station on Pipewell Industrial Estate in Desborough, near Kettering. Long-established in PCV training and now selling LGV from the same base: Cat C, C+E, C1 and C1+E in 5, 7 or 10-day courses of four-hour sessions. Also offers ADR, LGV and PCV initial CPC including Module 4, and periodic Driver CPC. Assessment drives are used to size the course.

Small family-run South Yorkshire school working out of Queens Building on Green Road in Penistone. The package table covers C1 and C1+E, Cat C, C+E, PCV D and D1 and B+E, together with initial CPC Modules 2 and 4 and periodic Driver CPC run on weekdays, weekends and evenings. Skills Bootcamp novice-to-C+E courses run from the Penistone office, with practical tests taken at Sheffield Handsworth. Hours are built around what you actually need so you do not pay for more than that.

Family-run Sunderland driver training school, established 2011, based at Compound A on Riverside Road in Southwick. Courses cover C1, Cat C and C+E (including straight-to-Class-1 hour packages), C1+E, PCV D, D1 and D1+E, plus B+E trailer training and Driver CPC. Training can be taken as an intensive week or spread over evenings and weekends, and the school arranges medicals, theory and practical tests for you. Office hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–15:00.

Suffolk school trading as Total Driving, starting and finishing courses at its own garage on Bury Road in Stowmarket, minutes from a dedicated three-pad reversing area. Its fleet includes a Scania 18t rigid, Renault 26-tonner and a Scania G410 44t artic, plus C1 ambulance and horsebox vehicles. Initial CPC Modules 2 and 4, periodic CPC and PCV categories are also offered.
