Trans Plant Mastertrain is a privately owned Exeter centre with the largest off-road tarmac HGV training area in the South West — about four acres, on the test routes and a few minutes from the DVSA site. You train on their own fleet (they list six artics and three rigids), with in-house DVSA-approved Module 3A and Module 4 examiners, so reversing and CPC practical stay on the same yard. Transport Training Services is the training arm of a long-established transport training charity, based at a purpose-built centre at 15 Dundrod Road, Nutts Corner, Crumlin, about ten minutes from Belfast International Airport. The centre runs five-day Category C and Category C+E courses with published prices, and the Cat C package includes the Driver CPC Module 4 test. Periodic Driver CPC is also offered as separate seven-hour days. The site has its own dedicated vehicle manoeuvring area and a driving simulator.

Independent HGV school on Wroughton Airfield. Every day starts and ends at Hanger C2, with a proper off-road reversing area and secure parking. Small instructor team; book the airfield, not a national brand.

Family-run Wiltshire logistics trainer with a purpose-built Devizes centre (classrooms, FLT area, manoeuvring pad to DVSA test dimensions) and a Keynsham yard at IJ McGill, Avon Mill Lane, BS31 2HZ. Courses include C1 through C+E, PCV, periodic and initial CPC, ADR, HIAB and forklift.

Dorset vocational centre with its own off-road manoeuvring ground and a classroom for CPC, ADR and transport-manager work. LGV and PCV on their vehicles, plus a full ADR programme. Forklift is on-customer-site only.

Ofsted Outstanding FE college running funded HGV Skills Bootcamps from a dedicated Locking campus. Practical block includes driving, reversing and Module 4. A college pathway, not a private broker.

Independent LGV school based at Tockwith Motorsports Centre on Fleet Lane, about five minutes from the DVSA HGV test centre near York. Training covers Cat C, C+E, C1, C1+E, D1 and PCV D, plus B+E, with CPC Module 4 included in full HGV courses or bookable on its own. They own all their own trucks and state plainly that they are not brokers, with in-house reverse and Module 4 examiners and an off-road facility for novices. Tuition is 1:1 with a free initial assessment.

Peterborough centre on the Oxney Road industrial estate offering C1, C1+E, Cat C and C+E training. Module 4 training is delivered at Apex with the test at DVSA, and periodic Driver CPC runs Monday to Saturday at a published day rate. ADR, PCV and minibus, horsebox and forklift courses are also available, with LGV medicals on site.

Wolverhampton school based at The Gatehouse, Well Lane, Wednesfield. Class 2 (Cat C) is a five-day course of 2.5 hours a day, one-to-one on automatic DAFs, with Module 3a during the week and 3b usually the following Monday. Class 1 (C+E) runs over eight days starting on a Saturday in a Volvo or DAF automatic, and C1 7.5 tonne is also offered. Initial Driver CPC and 35-hour periodic CPC are delivered in seven-hour classroom modules.

Craig Baker Driver Training's Wigan depot, occupying units on Bradley Hall Trading Estate at Standish. Training covers Category C and CE, C1, PCV D and D1, CPC Module 4 and periodic Driver CPC. In-house instructors are named for the Wigan yard, and attendance is by appointment only with no walk-ins.
