Training arm of a Keighley haulage group that has been in the industry since 1976, based at Thunderbird Depot on Valley Road. Cat C and C+E are both run as 20-hour / 5-day courses with published prices, alongside CPC Module 4, 7-hour periodic Driver CPC and RTITB forklift. The operating centre sits on the test route and has its own reversing pad, with 1:1 tuition seven days a week and automatic Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles available.

Billingham training centre established in 2007, with its driver training base at Haverton Hill House on Haverton Hill Road (the Coxwold Way Biz Hub is an office, not the training site). Courses cover Cat C (Class 2) and Cat C+E (Class 1) licence acquisition, with the company DVSA-approved for both initial and periodic Driver CPC. ADR, Transport Manager CPC and forklift training are also offered, along with driver medicals and driver assessments. RTP runs its own modern fleet with DVSA-registered instructors, and advertises funded Class 2 places.

Staffordshire LGV yard at Unit 26, Moorfields Industrial Estate, Cotes Heath, run alongside a Newcastle-under-Lyme office. Trains C1, Cat C and Cat CE plus PCV and D1 minibus, with Driver CPC, B+E and forklift also available. Own pricing puts a Class C course including medical and theory in the region of £870 to £1,150, with a Class 1 upgrade around £750 to £975. First aid and transport manager courses complete the offer.
Family-run Middlesbrough training centre operating since 2004 from A66 Storage on Old Station Road, South Bank. Training covers Cat C, C+E and C1 licence acquisition, initial Driver CPC Module 4, periodic Driver CPC, ADR, PCV, HIAB lorry loader and forklift. The centre runs its own Scania fleet and an on-site DVSA-approved test facility, so tests can be taken where you train. Their own site states they are not brokers — when you book with them, you train with them.
The Academy is the training centre of the Henderson Group, based at Hightown Avenue, Mallusk, Newtownabbey. It runs C1, C1+E, Category C rigid and Category C+E artic courses alongside D and D1 PCV training and B+E, with a separate 35-hour periodic Driver CPC programme delivered as five seven-hour days. The centre is Northern Ireland's only NRI Examination Centre and names JAUPT, ITSSAR and DVA approvals. ITSSAR forklift training is also offered from the same Mallusk site.
The Matford Centre, Matford Park Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter, Devon EX2 8FD
Trans Plant Mastertrain is a privately owned Exeter centre with the largest off-road tarmac HGV training area in the South West — about four acres, on the test routes and a few minutes from the DVSA site. You train on their own fleet (they list six artics and three rigids), with in-house DVSA-approved Module 3A and Module 4 examiners, so reversing and CPC practical stay on the same yard. Nearly 35 years on Marsh Barton; book direct with their admin team.
Worcestershire training academy based at Defford Mill, Earls Croome. Trains Cat C, C+E, C1, C1+E and B+E along with PCV, and runs 35-hour periodic Driver CPC. Also offers ADR (full five-day and three-day refresher), HIAB vehicle-mounted lorry loader and forklift courses. Instructor assessment is carried out by their own examiners.
